Babylon Lodge is one of the oldest lodges that was started in the early 1980s. by late Stephen Eric and his wife. The lodge is located near Maragu gate of Kilimanjaro national park, it’s one of the best lodges along the Maragu route and entire Kilimanjaro region. Although it was started early, the lodge management has kept the lodge more impressive adopting all the new channels and changes of the present-day lodge

Location
Babylon Lodge is located along the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro on the Northern part of Arusha the Tourist city along the Arusha Moshi highway in the Maragu route. The lodge is just 5 kilometers away from Marangu route gate of Mt Kilimanjaro national park. The lodge is not far from Kilimanjaro international; the airport with 1-hour drive from the airport.
One can use or stay in our lodge and still trek Mt Kilimanjaro through the Rongai route, Machame route or Marangu route. This unique and strategic location makes the lodge of the best and favorite lodges in the area servicing the busiest routes of Mt Kilimanjaro national park. Our guests use our lodge for one night before and after trekking Mount Kilimanjaro national park.
Babylon Lodge provides quality accommodation with the most affordable services, we offer flexible rates to our guests hence attracting most of the guests from all budgets. Special requests are most welcome and happily received and worked upon like dietary issues and other special requests.
Our lodge has 21 well-furnished rooms that come with large comfortable beds. The rooms are equipped with self-contained bathrooms with hot and cold water showers. The rooms have good privacy and a great view of the mountain when staying at the balcony. Our rooms are located in beautiful gardens that give our guests a relaxing atmosphere hence great acclamation before you start your hiking challenge to Mount Kilimanjaro.
The Babylon Lodge has from single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms. All the rooms have 24 hours room service, Wi-Fi, clean flushing toilets, hairdryer, and mosquito nets.
Babylon Lodge Restaurant offers international and African dishes well prepared by the local well trained and experienced chefs. Babylon Lodge has ample parking space with high-security CCTV cameras working 24hrs to ensure the safety of our guest’s property. Our keeping services make sure that the guests’ property especially the forgotten are kept well. We also keep guest’s property if they are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and they pick it up after their trip.
