Karanga River lodge
Karanga River lodge is a newly built mid -range accommodation found in Moshi along Arusha –Himo Road just 2km from the center, 32 miles from Kilimanjaro International airport ,about 20km away from Mount Kilimanjaro Tanzania Region. The Lodge is convenient and business friendly to guests with its cozy environment and beautiful scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounding areas. One can be at the lodge by either road transport from arusha which takes approximately 1-2 hours’ drive to moshi in Tanzania and 45 minutes to fly from arusha to close airstrip Kilimanjaro international airport then 35km to be transferred to the lodge.
Karanga River lodge consists of 10 beautiful elegant rooms with scenic views of MT. Kilimanjaro reflecting modern building nature style with modern comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en-suite facilities of clean flushing toilets , both cold and hot showers , mosquito nets , complementary bottled water, Satellite, air conditioning, toiletries , flat screen TVs, extinguishers etc.
Rooms have verandas and large sitting area; you relax while overlooking the great views of Mount Kilimanjaro, beautiful gardens with flowers that give best moment of relaxation and surrounding areas. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable queen sized beds with clean beddings. There are fireplaces at the lodge where guests gather together and share good moments about the safaris not only that it also provide warmth to visitors at night. Rooms vary in different sizes with single beds for individual , double bed for couple /sharing and family/group rooming options with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above ( note that high season rate is different to low season rate.)

Mount Kilimanjaro is considered to be the tallest mount in Africa and Mosh i is the municipality and capital city of Kilimanjaro region in the north eastern part of Tanzania. It has the good view of morshi town and Mount Kilimanjaro. Tanzania is an east African country found in the southern par t ,it borders with Uganda in the north , Kenya in the north east , Mozambique and Malawi to the south ,Zambia to the south west, Rwanda ,Burundi and Democratic republic of Congo to the west. Mount Kilimanjaro is found in the north Eastern Tanzania and is the highest Africa’s mountain. Mount Kilimanjaro has its three volcanic cones which include; kibo, mawezi and shira as a dormant volcano in Tanzania.
The summit of Kilimanjaro is around 5,895 metres above sea level, which makes it the largest in Africa but way behind the Mount Everest which has a peak of around 8,848 metres.
