Attractions in Nyerere National Park : Nyerere National Park formerly the northern part of Selous Game reserve. The park covers an area of about 30,893 km2, making it the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in Tanzania. This stunning national park is located in Liwale District in western Lindi Region, south west Pwani Region, north eastern Ruvuma Region and a big part of south eastern Morongoro Region. The park was gazetted in 2019 and under the management of Tanzania national parks authority.
