These high-energy, easily digestible carbohydrate snacks were chosen especially to aid in your ascent. The meals’ main sources of carbs include pasta, potatoes, and rice. Every meal is accompanied by fresh fruit and vegetables. Because it is difficult to digest at higher altitudes and does not keep well on the mountain, meat is served there occasionally, but in small amounts. Water purification tablets called Aqua Tabs are used to treat water that has been gathered from the mountain. We advise you to bring some of your favorite “energy” items if you must adhere to a particularly strict diet, as Tanzania may not have easy access to some specialty ingredients.
