- Do not make noise in the park. Do not clap, hoot, play radio or music, or even throw objects at the animals to attract their attention.
- Do not mimic animal sounds. They just might misinterpret it and come at you.
- Do not pick, up-root, cut or destroy any vegetation or even any remains of animals say bones, trophies among others.
- Do not smoke while in the park. Smoking should be done only in designated areas at your lodge of stay if allowed. Be sure to put out your cigarette correctly after use.
- Do not light or cause a fire in the park.
- Picnicking should be done in designated areas only.
- Camping in Lake Manyara National Park should be done in designated areas only. Be sure to clearly put out the fire at your camp after use.
- Do not litter in the park. Keep all your rubbish, including food wraps with you until you get to a rubbish can. Litter can choke or even poison the wildlife in Lake Manyara National Park.
- Do not get out of your safari vehicle at any time of day during the game drive. Always stay inside your safari vehicle, and only make use of the pop up should your Tanzania safari vehicle have it.
- Feeding animals in Lake Manyara National Park is prohibited.
- Pets are not welcome in the park. The park is only for wild animals and should stay as such.
