5 days Tanzania safari : The 5 days Tanzania safari will start in Arusha and some of the destinations you will visit during the tour include Tarangire national park, Serengeti national park and also the Ngorongoro crater where you will look out for wildlife species like the big 5.

You will engage in morning and afternoon game drives as you explore the various destinations in search of different wildlife species and after the safari, the trip will end in Arusha.

Day 1; pick up and drive to Tarangire national park

You will be picked up by your guide at your hotel in Arusha and after being briefed about the safari, you will start your drive to Tarangire national park. You will enjoy a game drive in the national park and see various wildlife and bird species. Your lunch will be served ahead of an afternoon game drive in the national park and look out for the different wildlife species.

During the game drive around Tarangire national park, you will search for different wildlife species such as elephants, lions, waterbucks, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, zebras, cheetahs and many others. You will also see various bird species during your safari in the national park. You will have dinner and spend the night at your lodge.

Day 2; Tarangire to Serengeti national park

After having breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park where you will engage in an afternoon game drive as you explore the savannah plains of the national park and see different wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, leopards, lions and many others.

After exploring the vast savannah plains of Serengeti national park, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3; Full day in Serengeti national park

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare to engage in morning and afternoon game drives around the national park. During your game drive, you will search of wildlife species like the big 5 such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos. You will also have lunch after your morning game drive during which you will see a variety of wildlife species since they are very active in the morning and can easily be spotted.

In the afternoon, you will engage in another game drive in Serengeti national park as you look out for wildlife species such as giraffes, elands, impalas, warthogs, waterbucks, zebras, hippos, cheetahs among others. You will be driven back to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 4; Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of your transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area. you will explore the Ngorongoro crater which is the world’s largest inactive caldera formed as a result of volcanic activity. During the game drive in Ngorongoro, you will look out for wildlife species and also enjoy seeing bird species like flamingos.

You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater during your game drive and look out for wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, lions, leopards, hippos, waterbucks, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, elands and many others. After the game drive, your guide will drive you to your lodge where you will have your dinner and overnight.

Day 5; drive to Arusha

On the last day of your 5 days Tanzania safari after you have had breakfast at your lodge, you will start your transfer back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha which will bring your Tanzania safari to an end.
