8 Days Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Safari
8 Days Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Safari: Experience the best of Africa through our most scenic and physical safari mixing wildlife with hike of the African highest mountain, we will be using 5 days through Marangu route before we head to the largest open savannah Serengeti to observe the great migration and then later to the largest caldera in the world Ngorongoro.
Day 1 Arusha to Kilimanjaro to Mandara Hut
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha then drive to Kilimanjaro the world’s tallest free standing Mountain, check in from the Marangu gate for registration before we head to the park for our hike, our luggage will be given to the potters and we remain with light one especially water. Today we hike upto Mandara hut where we will spend our night.
Day 2 Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
After our cup of coffee or tea we ascend more higher with 6 hour hike as our next point will be Horombo hut. Have enroute lunch at Kambi ya Taabu, our lunch is accompanied by scenic long range view of the kibo peak and Mawenzi peak depending on the weather of the day. After lunch we continue to hike till we reach the hut, our potters will be ahead together with the chef to prepare hot water for you as you arrive they will be ready. Dijnner and overnight at Horombo Hut
Day 3 Horombo hut to Kibo
Day 3 marks the middle of our journey as we leave behind the alpine vegetation zone and enter into desert like vegetation lieing though the saddle area with no water in the area. Kibo is the only place where the mini supermarket is found in Kilimanjaro with some sales be done at the restaurant.
On this day our rest is much seen early as we plan for early raise up for our attempt to reach to the summit early enough on the next day
Day 4 Summit to Horombo Hut
The point of the dream come true especially for the first time hikers you will not even sleep only dreaming to reach uhuru peak, the chef will serve you hot water with light biscuits which will just energise you to hike up to the peak, our break rest will be at Stella point before we continu to the peak. Reaching to the peak we will sign the book and later descend down back to our camp where we will continue with the celebrations
Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marngu gate to Arusha
Wake up early and start our hike down to the gate, reaching in id morning or early afternoon at the gate, check out with our certificates then drive to Arusha where will have jubilating ceremony. Dinner and overnight at the hitel
Day 6 Arusha to Serengeti
Wake up early for the breakfast, transfer to Serengeti the largest open savannah passing through big towns and villages as we cross through Ngorongoro crater to enter in to Serengeti. Check in to our lodge for refreshments and lunch. In the evening go for an evening game drive to search for the big five (Lion, Leopards, Elephants, Rhino and Buffalos) and other game at the park.
Day 7 Serengeti to Ngorongoro
on day 7 of 8 Days Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Safari : Starting the day with very early breakfast, have enroute game drive in search for what we missed on the previous day as we continue seiing more animals which are permanent residents of the park that include Zebras, Wildebeest, Cheetahs, kobs, Antelope mention but a few to Ngorongoro reaching late afternoon. WE will have evening game drive after our lunch around the crater though we will not enter to the crater due to limited available time.
Day 8 Ngorongoro to Arusha
After our breakfast at the lodge, we later descend to the crater to have great view of animals like Black Rhinos, White Rhino, Buffalos, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Hyenas and many more. After we drive out and continue with enroute game drive as we drive to Arusha with lunch enroute for our flights back home.
End of 8 Days Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Safari
