8 days Tanzania wildlife and Zanzibar safari is a tour experience which will start in the destinations in the northern part of Tanzania such as Lake Manyara national park, Ngorongoro conservation area and also Serengeti national park where you will engage in game drives.
You will also fly to Zanzibar for a holiday and to relax along the white sand beaches of the island.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Lake Manyara national park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport and welcome you for your safari to Tanzania. You will have a short briefing and after this your journey to Lake Manyara national park will start.
You will search for various wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, tree climbing lions, hippos among others during a game drive which you will engage in around Lake Manyara national park. After the game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
On the 2nd day of your 8 days Tanzania wildlife and Zanzibar safari, after having breakfast early at your lodge, your guide will pick you up and drive you to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will engage in a tour around the Ngorongoro crater and search for wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalos among others.
You will also enjoy a tour around Ol duvai gorge as you tour the Ngorongoro conservation area and other attractions you will enjoy seeing include bird species such as flamingos. You will be driven to your lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park
You will start your day with breakfast served at your lodge before checking out and your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park. You will explore the central part of the national park and engage in a game drive around the savannah plains.
You will search for wildlife species such as the big five like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos as you tour Serengeti national park. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4; morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti
You will have a morning game drive around Serengeti national park after an early breakfast at your lodge as you search for animals like wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, dik dik, impalas, kudu, hartebeests, waterbucks, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs among others.
On this full day game drive experience in Serengeti national park, you will have lunch and engage in an afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge to relax and have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5; flight from Seronera to Zanzibar
On the 5th day of your 8 days Tanzania wildlife and Zanzibar safari, after breakfast and checking out of your lodge in Serengeti national park, your guide will drive you to Seronera airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar island. On arrival at the airport in Zanzibar, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel for check in and also to relax in the comfort of your hotel where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 and Day 7; Zanzibar beach experience
You will enjoy relaxing at the beach in Zanzibar after breakfast at your hotel. You can also engage in the various activities on the island like swimming with dolphins, snorkeling, diving, visiting stone town among others and later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8; departure
You will have breakfast at your lodge ahead of your transfer to the airport for your flight out of Zanzibar which will bring the tour to an end.
